Result-oriented Competency Management
Managing personal development with retention of personal identity
Competencies are the personal qualities of employees. These personal qualities are often described as behavioural characteristics which brings the pitfall of basing employee development on subjective judgments on behaviour.
Eprom offers a method of competency management that respects the personal identity of people. By linking competencies to the process of value creation that takes place in functions Result-oriented Competency Management comes into being. The personal qualities of employees are only evaluated in relation to the achieved results.
The Result-oriented Competency Model defines 12 universal competencies that are needed to achieve results via sub results. Every competency is translated to a specific quality that is needed to achieve a visible and valuable sub result for your organization. In this way the development of personal qualities of employees becomes aligned with these unique key qualities that are needed within your organization to create distinguishing value for customers.
With Result-oriented Competencies the qualities the employee has to develop to realise the results are clarified. Empowerment is increased so that employees can independently realise valuable results for own customers.
